RAID-5 arrays should be able to withstand a single disk failure without data loss. Cheadle Data Recovery has worked a number of examples of RAID servers and RAID NAS/SAN units which have had multiple disk failures. In these cases it is necessary to ensure recovery of the failed drives, and then rebuild the RAID array. Such failures represent the most challenging work that a data recovery company can face, especially if data is time-critical. At Cheadle Data Recovery we have the facilities to successfully recover data from such arrays. We can deal with all types of RAID-5 including Adaptec backwards parity, AMI backwards dynamic, HP/Compaq backwards delayed, forward parity, and forward parity dynamic.

As an end user the thought of serious damage to your hard drive can be daunting and in some cases frightening. The loss of data can mean vital work is lost and your computer may be damaged without you even knowing it. You should not attempt data recovery for yourself. To do can lead to irreversible damage and complete data loss.

All data recovery work undertaken by CDR is under a Free diagnosis and a no recovery no-fee policy.

Please do not attempt to open the cover of a hard disk. Exposing the platter surface outside of controlled electrostatic and ISO 5 clean room conditions will result in complete data loss due to platter contamination.
