Laptop Data Recovery
Laptop 2.5 inch hard disk drives work on the same principles as their bigger 3.5 inch desktop relatives. Typically they have a small capacity and lower rotation speed. Some small laptops are fitted with micro 1.8 inch hard disks. These are frequently seen in Sony and Toshiba business range laptops. Laptop computers are highly portable; consequently there is a relatively high incidence of head assembly failure in the hard disks due to physical shock.
Other reasons for laptop hard disk data loss include:
Degraded media (bad sectors) |
Firmware corruption |
Water and other liquid damage |
Physical shock from being dropped |
Inaccessible or corrupt partitions |
Viruses |
Circuit board failure |
Bearing failure / Motor seizure |
It is possible for Cheadle Data Recovery to recover data from all laptop hard disk manufacturers including:
Seagate |
Hitachi |
Western Digital |
Samsung |
Toshiba |
Fujitsu |
Please do not attempt to open the cover of a hard disk. Exposing the platter surface outside of controlled electrostatic and ISO 5 clean room conditions will result in complete data loss due to platter contamination. |
