Data loss on iCloud
Just in the same way that Solid State Disks are being touted as super reliable (they’re not by the way), it seems that also those Cloud users might just want to consider having a local backup too.

Mr Harris said consumers gave up control over their digital lives when they signed for iCloud or similar services. The iCloud service co-ordinates everything a customer does on one Apple device to make it available on all their Apple devices.
It is something all of us must consider regarding our data; who has access and control over it when we choose to host our data on hardware that is not our own. Moreover, what happens, and who is responsible when things go wrong?
