Quite an interesting look at the economics associated with hard disk distribution and sale. Those who think that hard disks won’t be around in a few years time should think twice. Seagate still seems to be manufacturing 600,000 a day.
We find customers have increasingly large amounts of data stored on their hard disk drive. In some cases, they can’t even remember what they have stored on it.
Just like your house, people have a habit of filling the space when it is available. Do we really need 2000GB hard disk drives? Probably not.
