The majority of reviews for Cheadle DATA Recovery Ltd can be on the Google Maps/Business listing or on our Facebook listing. However, for convenience a copy of all these reviews can not be found on the CDR Reviews page.
Why does CDR use Google and Facebook for reviews?
It is necessary to set up, or use, an existing Google or Facebook account and provide information about yourself. This does put off some people from leaving a review. However, the aim of this additional information is to stop fake reviews and to make the review accountable to an individual.
Fake reviews

Moreover, on some review sites, it is possible for the business to have a negative review removed. This is achieved by reporting that the review is missing ‘Proof of Purchase,’ option in Trustpilot or similar platform.
On Trustpilot: If the business claims that the reviewer does not have “proof of purchase” they can get the review removed. Perfect for removing negative reviews!
A response from the business owner
On Google Maps and Facebook, it is impossible for a review to be removed by the business. It is only possible for the business to respond publicly to the review. Consequently you are much more likely to find real feedback on these websites.
