Integrated SSD storage
Cheadle Data Recovery Ltd has suitable hardware which allows for data recovery on 2016-2017 model MacBook Pros with Touch Bar, even in the event of a logic board failure. These laptops have an SSD soldered directly to the motherboard, meaning data recovery from a MacBook of this model with a failed logic board would be very difficult without this equipment.

This is not compatible with MacBook Pros manufactured after 2018, or ones that do not feature a touch bar.
