Covid-19 Coronavirus and business hours.

From the 5ht of November 2020, there are widespread closures of public facilities and businesses across the UK due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Cheadle DATA Recovery Ltd shall be trading with the working hours of 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

Free Courier Collection

If you are unable to leave your home to deliver or post a failed storage device, then CDR can arrange for a courier to collect the device from you. Please phone us on 0161 408 4857 to arrange this. This courier service shall be provided free of charge.

If you wish to arrange your own door-to-door courier service, which will allow you a choice on delivery time and to add insurance, then we recommend you visit the Parcel2Go website. There are many delivery options, including low-cost services which deliver parcels up to 2KG for £2.69 + VAT.

Donor Parts

CDR is in its fourteenth year of trade. During this time an archive of donor HDDs has been developed. Currently, CDR holds over 3500 HDDs in stock. These are vital in data recovery services where it is necessary to replace the internal components of an HDD when there is a mechanical failure. Despite the closure of may donor part suppliers, it means that CDR can still recover data, and can even provide ’emergency’ 12 to 48-hour services.

Fixed Prices in Advance

CDR will always provide a fixed price list in advance of receiving any device. This ensures that customers know the costs, including the upper limit, for any service before they send in a device. Not all data recovery companies provide this. Please visit our Pricing page for details on why this is important.

Reliable Advice

If you have any data recovery enquiry then please contact CDR. We realise that during the Coronavirus restrictions it might not be possible for you to pursue a recovery attempt. However, it is still possible for CDR to provide you with realistic and trusted advice on what can be done.

Customer visits

Customers are able to visit in person. However, all visitors should make an appointment via the CDR booking page. This ensures only one customer visits at any time to ensure social distancing. Face masks should be worn.
