M60 traffic snowHeavy snow in Stockport – Travel warning.

There is currently heavy snowfall in Stockport. Travel updates for the Greater Manchester area can be found on the Manchester Evening News website.

We are aware that a number of customers are due to try and visit CDR today for either collection or delivery of their HDD, SSD, memory stick or server. We suggest that you delay your travel until tomorrow, or when the snow has cleared. At the point of writing (11 am) there is currently 8cm of snow on pavements, and about 4cm on roads. The snow is falling at a rate of approximately 3cm an hour. There are heavy delays on the M60 due to a number of accidents.

Our courier service (APC) have informed us that they will not be making collections today. If data is required urgently then CDR can send your device by a Royal Mail service.

30/01/2015 UPDATE:  The snow has cleared on most of the ‘A’ and ‘B’ roads in Stockport. CDR is open for business as normal and it should be possible to drive safely to CDR.
